These terms govern your use of stevenkeen.com (the “site”). By visiting or using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The provider of the site is identified in the Legal Notice.

2. What this site is

stevenkeen.com is the personal portfolio of Steven Keen—documentary filmmaker, social entrepreneur, founder of CRETAN^®, and author of six responsible-travel resources. It publishes biographical, editorial, and portfolio content for information only. It does not sell or arrange travel, does not take bookings, and does not conclude contracts with consumers. References to CRETAN^® and to the linked resources are informational; any services offered there are governed by those sites’ own terms.

3. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, photographs, film stills, and design of this site are the property of Steven Keen and are protected by copyright. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and share links to the pages. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, or redistribute the content—in whole or in substantial part—without prior written permission. Third-party names, marks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification or editorial reference only.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site unlawfully, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, or to harvest its content by automated means for republication. Ordinary, good-faith reading, citation, and indexing by search engines and assistants are welcome.

5. External links

This site links to external websites—including CRETAN^®, Fisher of Kids, and Steven Keen’s six responsible-travel resources. Those sites are not under the operator’s control; responsibility for their content lies solely with their respective operators, and a link does not imply endorsement of everything they contain.

6. The newsletter

This site hosts no newsletter and collects no email addresses. Where it links to the once-a-month letter, subscription happens on responsibletourism.com and is governed by that site’s privacy policy; it is voluntary, requires confirmed opt-in, and can be ended at any time via the link in every email.

7. No warranty

The content is provided in good faith and with care, but “as is,” without warranty of any kind. While every effort is made to keep it accurate and current, no guarantee is given as to its completeness, accuracy, or timeliness, and nothing here is professional, legal, or financial advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steven Keen accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, this site or any site linked from it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
